Our Philosophy

Hara refers to our abdominal region in Traditional Chinese Medicene. Not only do I find great resonance with studying TCM, but reflexology concepts were what first drew my attention to my deep fascination for the body when I was only 4 months old. Hara is the region where your heart is- your intuition- gut instincts- your creative forces- and your uniqueness. All the other organs locatives in our Hara connect to difference emotions, elements, seasons, and more. The abdominal region I quite literally the center of our being as well. When we are connected to the center of our being, we are connected to the parts of ourselves that touch spirit and the parts of us that interact with the world.

Through bodywork and movement, one intention I always carry is connect you to your heart. Sometimes this part can be more on the quiet side, but when your mind and body are feeling clear, it can be easier to feel into. Bodywork is one way of quieting the mind to connect with the heart. From my Hara to yours, thank you for being here.

Our Services

Self Love

In the ancient wisdom of Greece, health was upheld by three pillars: bathing, nutrition, and massage. Just as natural minerals enriched the waters of their baths, massage was revered for its ability to nourish the body, mind, and soul. It wasn't merely about relieving muscle tension or improving circulation; it was a practice deeply rooted in the belief that physical well-being was intricately tied to mental and emotional balance.

Massge is a self-love practice. It's about acknowledging the interconnectedness of our being and honoring it with the care it deserves. Through the skilled touch of massage, we not only release physical tension but also tend to the deeper layers of our being, fostering a sense of peace.

Bodywork is a holistic approach to wellness—one that nurtures the body, uplifts the spirit, and honors the journey of self-discovery and self-care.

Yin Yoga

One-On-One, Private Event, and Community Yin Yoga Classes

I’m passionate about the transformative power of Yin yoga, a practice centered around slowing down and deepening our connection with the body. Through deep, prolonged stretches held for about 3 minutes, Yin yoga allows us to access deeper layers of the body, including the fascia. Fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs, begins to open and expand after about two minutes, creating space for fresh energy to flow. Much like the neuroplasticity of the mind, where we can train our brains to create new pathways, Yin yoga enables us to cultivate flexibility and openness in the body. By embracing this practice, we not only release physical tension but also invite a sense of spaciousness and renewal into our lives. Pairing the yin pillars of silence, spaciousness, and stillness, we devolve greater self awareness.
